Becky’s Ivory Dress

Once upon a time, October 23, 2010 to be exact, Becky walked down the aisle and married the man of her dreams, Jake Hatfield. As they were being wed, I had the honor and privilege of standing with them as on one the bridesmaids. In  the beautiful town of Boone, North Carolina, my best friend said “I Do”. I couldn’t be happier for her!

I have known Becky since my sophomore year in college. She is definitely a kindred spirit. Almost instantly we were laughing together. Let me just say, I have never laughed harder with someone (when we were supposed to be doing homework). I have never so been challenged by someone’s walk with the Lord. She is truly a jewel! She has a beautiful heart for the Lord. On her special day, Becky was truly beautiful and was one of the sweetest bride’s I have ever met.

She was not only a sweet bride, but a very HAPPY bride!

Jake was pretty happy himself! I loved the way he emphasised his vows as he spoke them. I also loved how he kept saying throughout the day, “Isn’t she beautiful? Isn’t she beautiful?”

It was my joy and honor to be able to stand beside Becky;  it was also a joy to have my family with me.

Elias did really well on the trip. He slept during the whole wedding!

Mark watched Elias while I did my bridesmaid activities.

One of the bridesmaids made her cake!

She had a fall theme. It was awesome!

Congrats Jake and Becky!
