Once-A-Month Cook

It’s a miracle! I actually made dinner. I know what you are wondering. “Did it taste good?” Well friends…that is not the point. The point is: I made dinner! There was food on the table for my family, and get this. I didn’t just make one meal. I made ten.

Thanks to my good friend Ally, I learned how to cook for the freezer. Ally came up with a great menu. We went grocery shopping, and got together and cooked for five hours.

Our Menu:

  1. Simple Lasagna
  2. Tex-Mex Beef Enchiladas
  3. French Dip Sandwiches
  4. Cheesy Potatoes and Ham
  5. Mac-n-cheese and Ham
  6. Pizza
  7. Honey Lime Chicken
  8. Cream Cheese Chicken
  9. Lime Teriyaki Chicken
  10. Quiche Lorraine

I won’t lie I feel so proud of us that I think we should get golden oven mitts with our names embroidered on it for our achievement.

Here is Ally with our Enchiladas.

I made the lasagna.

Our Pizzas

We had so many pots and pans out.

After a long day of cooking, we put all of our meals in the freezer. Cooking all of this food at once has been so rewarding, and I would highly recommend it. I love being a once-a-month cook.
